This article will teach you how to create QR Codes in bulk or individually. The PDF allows for a maximum of (10) QR Codes per page and is formatted to accommodate 2" x 4" labels.
QR Codes are mobile device readable barcodes that can be printed and attached to a piece of equipment. PM Work Orders for equipment are easily accessible by scanning the QR Code with a mobile phone or tablet.
- From the Property & Facility menu, click Settings.
- From the Property & Facility Settings page, navigate to the Preventive Maintenance section and click Equipment.
- From the Equipment page, click Create QR Code(s).
- Once the Create QR Code(s) window opens, first select the applicable property in the Property field, which defaults to the property selected upon visiting the Equipment page.
- Based upon the property selected, Active equipment will appear under Available Equipment for Preventive Maintenance.
- Click the checkbox(es) next to the equipment to create the QR Code(s).
- Note: Click the checkbox in the header of the section to select all available equipment.
- Click Save.
- The QR Code(s) for the selected equipment will open in a new web browser tab as a PDF which can be printed or saved.
