Renaming Document Folders in the Property & Facility App

This article will teach you how to rename document folders within the Property & Facility App.

The Documents tab is the place to store any property-related documents that you or others may need to access later. This can include BOMA Surveys, Capital Expense Budgets, Leases, Licensing Agreements, Property Reports, Property Condition Assessments, Photos, Real Estate Tax Analysis, and Estoppels.

  1. From the Property & Facility menu, click Properties.
  2. From the Properties page, click the name of the applicable property.
  3. From the Property Details page, click the Documents tab, and then the Property & Facility folder.
  4. Locate the folder that you desire to rename.
  5. Click the Actions icon for the applicable folder, which looks like a pencil, on the far right of the screen and select Rename from the dropdown menu.
  6. Once the Rename Folder window opens, enter the folder name within the Rename your folder textbox.
  7. Click the Save button.
  8. The selected folder is now renamed.
