OVERVIEW
Rarely when asked to implement a new property a support technician will discover the property has already been created in the base account. This guide will help prevent deleting or overwriting a property in error.
HOW TO
- If the property has spaces and a stacking plan stop and check in the Zendesk ticket if this is a AM sync property. If so use the SYNC PROPERTY SETUP GUIDE. If sync is not mentioned in the Zendesk ticket check with the project manager or engineering.
- Click the Teams tab
- If there are people with titles like "Leasing Agent" or "Broker" this property may have been entered using the legacy "Leasing" application. Check with the project manager or whoever opened the Zendesk ticket if they want to continue to use the Leasing application. If so, you can not use the import template and all information must be entered manually.
- If there is no building information entered on the Building tab you may proceed with import template on Step X of the P&F standalone implementation guide.
- Otherwise follow DEACTIVATE procedures and continue with step 4 of the Pre-Implementation steps on the P&F standalone implementation guide.
