OVERVIEW
Property & Facility Properties syncing data from Asset Management can be desynced by following the steps below. After the desync is complete a meeting with the property's staff users will be led by the support team to train the staff users on the differences in the app that will occur due to the desync.
These meetings are scheduled by the project manager.
HOW TO
Prerequisites
Capture property information from WorkSpace in case of unforeseen issues
- Export the following reports from the P&F - Reports page:
- Tenant Contacts.
- Suite/Unit List.
- PM Background Data Export.
- Work Category Audit.
- User Access Audit.
- Take screenshots of the following P&F pages to capture the property configuration not included in the reports:
- Tenants overview page for both the active and inactive tabs.
- Tenants Leases page for each Tenant.
- Properties Buildings page.
Write up the JIRA ticket including the following information:
A description of the request: Block Property Data Feed for P&F Property Synced to AM.
Details about the property:
- Property Name.
- P&F Property URL (URL of the property when opened in P&F).
- AM Property URL (URL of the property when opened in AM).
- Base Account or Accounts.
Following the release of the JIRA ticket the Ops team will do a review of the property to insure functionality remains the same making sure to check the following P&F pages and their features:
- Tenants
- Open the screenshots of the Tenants page for both the active and inactive tabs.
- Open the Tenants page.
- Compare the list of Tenants in WorkSpace to the screenshots and confirm none have been added, changed, or removed.
- Leases
- Open the Tenants leases page screenshots for each tenant.
- Open the Tenants leases page for each tenant.
- Compare the Lease information and status of Tenants in WorkSpace to the screenshots and confirm none have been added, changed, or removed.
- Suites
- Open the Suite/Unit List report.
- Open the Properties - Stacking Plan page.
- Compare the Suites and their assigned Tenants in WorkSpace to the report and confirm none have been added, changed, or removed.
- Buildings
- Open the Properties Buildings page screenshot.
- Open the Properties Buildings page.
- Compare the Buildings in WorkSpace to the screenshot and confirm none have been added, changed, or removed.
If any of the above has been added, changed, or removed consult with the product and engineering teams to see if the data can be saved. If the data can not be saved reimplement the property as a standalone using the reports pulled in the prerequisite. Documentation on reimplementing an existing property can be found here.
Who and when to schedule
- The training meeting can be scheduled when the property is confirmed to have no issues or finished being reimplemented.
- Include the customer success rep, property management team, and any other leadership like the chief engineer in the training meeting.
