This article will teach you how to use the Incidents feature of the Property & Facility App.
Creating a New Incident
This feature will allow you to create a new incident report.
- From the Property & Facility menu, click Incidents.
- From the Incidents page, click the New Incident button.
- Once the Add New Incident window has opened, complete the form presented:
Field | Explanation |
---|---|
Property | Select the property where the incident occurred. |
Type | Select the type of incident. |
Occurred On | Select the date that the incident occurred on. |
Narrative | Enter a brief explanation of the incident. |
- Click the Save button.
- The new incident has been created and is now visible under the Open tab of the Incidents page.
Cancelling an Incident
This feature will allow you to cancel an existing incident report.
- From the Property & Facility menu, click Incidents.
- From the Incidents page, click the ID of the incident that you desire to cancel.
- From the Incident Details page, click the Cancel button.
- Once the Cancel Incident window has opened, click the Cancel Incident button.
- The incident has now been cancelled.
- Note: Once an incident has been cancelled it is not visible under the Open or Closed tab of the Incidents page.
Closing an Incident
This feature will allow you to close an existing incident report.
- From the Property & Facility menu, click Incidents.
- From the Incidents page, click the ID of the incident that you desire to close.
- From the Incident Details page, click the Close button.
- Once the Close Incident window has opened, click the Close Incident button.
- The incident has been closed and is now visible under the Closed tab of the Incidents page.
Adding an Attachment to an Incident
This feature will allow you to add an attachment to an incident report.
- From the Property & Facility menu, click Incidents.
- From the Incidents page, click the ID of the incident that you desire to add an attachment to.
- From the Incident Details page, click the Attachments tab.
- Click the Browse button, navigate to the desired file on your computer, and then click Open to attach the file.
- Click the Upload button.
- The file has been attached and is now visible under the Attachments tab of the Incidents page.
Editing an Incident
This feature will allow you to edit an existing incident report.
- From the Property & Facility menu, click Incidents.
- From the Incidents page, click the ID of the incident that you desire to edit.
- From the Incident Details page, click the Edit button.
- Once the Edit Incident window has opened, complete the form presented:

Property | Select the desired property. |
Incident Date | Select the date and time of the incident. |
Location | Enter the location of where the incident occurred. |
Incident Type | Select the type of the incident. |
Supervisor on Duty | Enter the name of the supervisor that was on duty when the incident occurred. |
Property Value Lost | Enter the monetary value of the property that has been lost as a result of the incident. |
Company Employees Involved | Enter the name(s) of any company employees that were involved in the incident. |
Vendor Employees Involved | Enter the name(s) of any vendor employees that were involved in the incident. |
Police Information | |
Police Called? | Select if the Police Department was called. |
Responding Officer Name | Enter the name(s) of the responding Police Officer(s). |
Case Control # | Enter the case control number provided by the Police Officer(s). |
Office Phone | Enter the contact number of the Police Officer(s). |
Badge # | Enter the badge number(s) of the Police Officer(s). |
Reporting Party Information | |
Reporter Name | Enter the name of the person who has reported the incident. |
Reporter Phone | Enter the phone number of the person who has reported the incident. |
Reporter Title | Enter the title of the person who has reported the incident. |
Reporter Email | Enter the email address of the person who has reported the incident. |
Injury Information | |
Injury Details | Enter the details of the injury sustained. |
Narrative | Enter a brief explanation of the incident. |
- Click the Save button.
- The incident has now been edited.
Printing an Incident
This feature will allow you to print an incident report.
- From the Property & Facility menu, click Incidents.
- From the Incidents page, click the ID of the incident that you desire to print.
- From the Incident Details page, click the Print button.
- Once the new window has opened, print the incident form.
- The incident form has now been printed.
